How To Do Bullion Stitch
If you want to win admiration for your embroidery works and improve your stitching techniques, then you can use this video. This video gives you tips and hints on how to do brick stitch which will be quite useful in your stitching.
Now, I am going to show you how to do a bullion stitch or bullion knot as it is called. You can use brick stitch to do things like flowers or you can just do little seeds or falling leaves. This here is a flower made up of the bullion stitches.
So to start off on a bullion stitch, you come through your fabric. You move along and come back up at the same point. You don't need to pull your needle through as you are going to wrap your thread around your needle and roughly eight or nine times.
It's quite a stitch. Okay, that's enough. I am going to put my finger on top of the needle.
On my left side and holding in place so that they don't unravel, as I pull my needle through. Do it nicely and slowly. Ding it quickly, might end up with a needle with a knot.
Okay, good, and then I am going to pull my thread over. I am going to use my needle to push those together and need to mend. Then going back in and down in to the pappet.
And that's how you do a bullion stitch. .
