How To Do Christmas Makeup

Christmas time is one of the best times of the year to show off not only your new clothes but also what you can experiment with makeup on yourself as well.

I'm going to show you how to do Christmas makeup. This is one of my favorite makeups because you can really have fun, play with a lot of colors, lots of glitters. But one of the most important parts for me would be to have a really flawless, natural base, so we put the foundation on, we've warmed the face off with bronzer already and we've put a pop of color with some blusher on the cheeks.

So, we're going to first of all concentrate on the eyes. I've chosen to use a cream eye shadow by Mac. It's got a really, really nice pigment, strong pigment to it.

So we're just going to get this lovely silver cream eye shadow, literally just go all over the eyelid. It's a really fun color to use as well. If you want to intensify the color, you can actually pop a powder one on top.

Gives a nice snowy and frosty effect this eye shadow so it's great for that Christmas season. We'll just get some highlighter in that brow bone and to really intensify that color, I'm going to be using a Barry M eye shadow. It's great because it's got lots of little flecks of purple in so will be great on Jenny's eye color which is blue, so will help it stand out.

I'm literally just going to press that on top of the eye shadow. So I'm just using a Barry M glitter eye shadow. What's great about this one is it's got lots of little purple flecks in.

This is great on Jenny's eye because it will help the blue color of her eye to stand up a little bit more. She's got a really nice green pigment in the eye if you look at it really closely. So you don't need too much, just a really, really light dusting.

If you're scared about the eye shadow going anywhere, you can hold a tissue underneath as you apply and then you won't get any fall out. If you find if you press it into the eye, you won't get too much mess. To really intensify this look, we're going to pop some black kohl eyeliner in her water line just to give some nice, sultry moody eyes and then finish off with plenty of mascara.

You can choose to use black or brown or if you're feeling adventurous, you can put some false eyelashes on as well. So, nice for the nice red lips, neutralize the lip color with foundation. I'm just using a Bobby Brown stick, it's absolutely fine.

And then you want to line the lips. Start with the Cupid's bow so you can really get a lovely shape to start with. Once you've lined the lips, the lip liner is really going to help your lipstick to stay on and it will also intensify the color that you're putting on as well with the lipstick.

And you can keep it really nice and glossy or if you want to matte it out, you can just get some tissue and gloss it or dust some powder really gently over it. To summarize on how to achieve that Christmas makeup look, we've used a flawless foundation base, kept it really nice, we've warmed the skin up with some bronzer, put some blusher on to give her a healthy glow and then concentrated on the eyes and given that frosty, kind of that metallic look on the eyes and popped some purple on there as well. And then, one of the most important parts of this Christmas look is to have red lips to make it really, really festive.

And that's how to achieve your Christmas makeup look. .
