How To Do Coloured Acrylic Nails

Hello, my name is Laura Bliss. I've been a nail technician for the past twelve years now. I'm currently teaching at the London College of Beauty Therapy.
I'm going to show you how to do a coloured acrylic tip. So first of all, you need to make sure that you prime the fingernail with primer, just over the natural nail. We're going to do the tip first.
We're going to use red. Soak your brush in the liquid and drag it along into the red powder and place it just on the tip. Then you're going to start molding it into where you want it to go.
Once you've perfected your smile line, make sure the color is totally even and just apply some clear acrylic over the top and then start filing. Concentrate on the shape first of all, and the length across the nail and then start buffing over the top. So once you've filed them into shape, you've filed around the cuticle area and made sure they're smooth, just go over with your white buffer, try some cuticle oil, and then just finish off with the really smooth side of your buffer.
