How To Do Corkscrews In Pole Dance Fitness
Pole dance is a fantastic way to stay fit and have fun at the same time. Emily Ford, a pole dance instructor at the Factory fitness centre in London, shows you how to the basic corkscrew move.
Top Tips
- Grip the pole with both arms, keeping your inside arms high and straight. You should hang from your arm, rather than pull, as you spin.
- Start the spin on your inside leg, taking three walks round the pole first.
- As you grip the pole, make sure your leg isn't too close to the pole or you won't be able to twist around it.
