This short video is designed to help you in the application of corrective make-up, as well as with making the choice on the sorts of products to buy to help you look your radiant best.
I have got a No.7 concealer palette, a trio actually, and I am also going to use Precious Light by Guerlain, which is a rejuvenating illuminator to get rid of any dark circles. I am going to enhance Sue's lips with a nude lip liner and natural lip gloss, and finally I am going to lift Sue's eyes with this Clinique Instant Lift for Brows brows. So, firstly, I am going to start with the Clinique Line Smoothing Concealer, available in several shades, so I am going to start this first of all.
So, this is going to correct any darkness under the eyes and also help with any fine lines. Just apply and blend in. Then, I want to lift the eye as well and I am going to use this Clinique product called Instant Lift for Brows in Soft Brown.
I am going to use the highlighter and literally just lift there, just apply there and this will create an eyelift, a quick eyelift like so. Far less painful than any surgery and a lot cheaper, and apply there as well and then the other end, you have got your brow filler, and literally just trace gently along the brows, filling in the gaps on those, like that. We're going to use the rejuvenating Illuminator by Guerlain and I am going to pop this down the nose to create a kind of like a glowing effect.
On the cupids bow, enhance the lips, the corners of the eyes, inner and outer, to brighten. You can do this over or under foundation, I tend to do it over, so then I can see where is needed. But today, I am showing you without foundation so you can see all the bare skin.
You can also put it there as a highlighter to create cheekbones. Like so, you can put it there, to create more of an eyelift, above the brow bone. Next, I am going to use the Boots No.7 trio, you can mix and match these shades, so I am going to use the pale ones, I am just going to get my concealing brush.
So, if there is any redness on the skin, like there, or any blemishes, I am going to use this palette. So, I am going to choose, you can mix and match on the hands, so if you choose, say, the yellow-like colour, then you can mix it with the pale to get the correct colour for the skin. So, here, you may want to get rid of some of the redness, and around the nose, and blend.
That balances that out, and on the other side as well, on the bridge of the nose. So, draw that down, that gets rid of any redness. Any blemishes, paint on there, that will conceal.
It is really perfecting the skin, like that. For the eyes as well, you can go back to your Guerlain Illuminating Rejuvenating Illuminator, and you can also use this on the eyelid, as a gentle as a way of an eye base, and to get rid of any pinkness.
And there we are, our corrective make-up.
