A good full warm up is absolutely essential for good dancing and fitness. Professional dancer Alice Richards shows you some stretches and other warm up tips in this Videojug film.
Top Tips
- It's a good idea to go for a 10 minute run beforehand, to get your body warmed up for movement and your heart rate up.
- Start from the head and work downwards.
- Know your limites and be careful not to overstretch. You want to warm up, not tire yourself out or injure yourself before dancing.
