How To Do Easy Meditation
Meditation is the best source of relaxation technique for children, teenagers, adults and old people. One must make it a habit to meditate daily, once in the morning and again once in the evening.
Hi. My name is Sunita Passi and I'm from a company called Tri-dosha. We're specialists in training in Ayurvedic Therapy and also meditation and we supply products and treatments to some luxury spas around the world.
There are many ways to meditate and I'm here today to talk to you about a few of the different meditation techniques that you can bring into your life in order to feel happier and healthier. I'm here to tell you that meditation is easy and is something that anyone can take up at any stage of their life. Traditionally, it's hard, quite esoterical and mystical explanation behind it but there's plenty of research that's being done all over the world to show that meditation has a very positive impact on children, especially if they're about to go through exams, on teenagers, again for the same reasons or if they're suffering from anything personally and then also with adults - it's got many health benefits.
These include on the mind - stress reduction, anxiety reduction, on the body or the physiology - it can help with many health problems and then also on your soul- it's said to lead to higher states of consciousness and allows you to have a deeper relationship with yourself. Meditation is easy. The simplest way to meditate is to find a really comfortable chair, you can use your favourite chair, your favourite sofa in the living room, relax yourself, it's better if nobody else is around, pop an eye pillow on your eyes, make sure that the room is pretty much silent, if you want a little music playing in the background, that's okay.
Once you find yourself in this relaxed spot, the easiest way to meditate is to simply listen to your breathing by inhaling and exhaling at a slower pace than regular. You'll start to feel the power of your breath and you'll actually start to feel thoughts that may have been predominating or dominating your mind, slowly start to disappear. If you try this for 10 minutes in the morning, 10 minutes in the evening, you'll definitely feel more rejuvenated.
If you want to take things further than that and actually go deeper into meditation, there's lots of other specific techniques that you can learn, and practitioners that you can source in order to teach you.
