How To Do Eye Shadow For Blue Eyes
If you have blue eyes, you have to be perfectly sure which colors suit your eye whether it's a mascara, eye shadow, eye pencil, etc. Take these makeup tips.
I'm going to be showing you how to do eye shadow for blue eyes. Step one is to make sure you choose the right color. You can get a color wheel from absolutely anywhere.
Find the color which you are and in this case, blue. Look at the opposite side of the color wheel and all those kinds of colors in that area will be fine for your eye color. Step two is the application.
We're just going to be using a very neutral color. This is just one from the Mac palette, all put together and just dust that all over the eye, all the way to the brow bone and this is going to give a really great base for any sort of colors to go on to. As Jenny has really lovely blue eyes, they also have some hints of green as well.
We're going to choose to use some corals, coppers and browns on her eyes to really help that colors pop out. So, if you just get that put up and just place it all over the lid. Don't worry if you get any fall-outs, you can just dust that off afterwards.
And just layer this coral color bit by bit. Just press the eye shadow into the lid. What's great about this color as well is it's got a really lovely almost like a metallic edge to it so it will help her eye to stand out.
You can also add some more color at a later stage, just going to add some depth to Jenny's eye as well just in the crease line. All this is to do really is to help it to stand out a bit more, just give the eyelid a little more definition. You can do this before the eye shadow goes on or you can do it afterwards.
It doesn't really matter. Just make sure you really blend this in as well. The next product we're going to be using is just concentrating really on using any copper or brown shade, whatever color you want and I'm actually going to concentrate on the outer corner of the eye.
It will be creating quite a nice smokey eye. Once you've got it on, most importantly, you need to blend it. So, now, what we're going to do just to really make the eye look a bit more smokey and help it to stand out, is just dust some brown eye shadow, the same one you put in the outer corner of the eye, just bring that down underneath the lashes and blend it across.
You don't want any harsh lines here, you want to make it really, really nice and soft. Now, what I've done is the coral color that went over the eyelid I've actually brought it down underneath here as well just to really brighten that inner eye area. If it's not intense, if it's not bright enough for you, you can then add a bit more shimmer in the middle.
By doing that, it's going to help the eye again to stand up that little bit more, just where the light naturally hits the eye circuit. We're just going to apply some cream eyeliner; you can get this from absolutely anywhere. This is the Mac pale yellow eye pencil and we're just popping this in the water line.
The reason why I'm choosing to do this instead of a black or a brown is to help brighten the eye and let that blue eye color stand out. Step three is to highlight the brow bone. This is going to help the eye stand out a little bit more.
You can just a powder highlighter or you can use a cream. I've chosen to use a cream today. This is a Mac Strobe Cream which is great to use anywhere you want to highlight on your face.
Just concentrate on that brow bone area. That's when the light hits down on it, it's going to really jump out. Step four, to complete this look, is to add some mascara on to the eye.
That's really going to help to open your eye up. We're going to be using a brown mascara. Brown is great for blue eyes because it's not as harsh as black so it's going to help to warm that eye area as well.
Now, you can choose to curl your lashes as well. This will just open your eye area up. I'm just using the coral color I put all over the eyelid and just bring that down into the inner corner of the eyes and across the bottom of your eye.
So I've just repeated the proce
