How To Do Graffiti Clothing
In this video from VideoJug, you'll learn how to create a unique piece of graffiti clothing. You'll also see some tips on creating specific effects such as thin or thick lines.
Hi, this is Julian from Graffiti Kings London. I'm going to show you how I would do graffiti clothing. Alright, here we have one white hoodie, just going to hook it over my paint cupboard here.
Just so I've got enough spacing area to spread it out a bit. Looks like we already got some catch up on there or something. Alright, anyway, so, first what I'd like to do is dust the background with just a little bit of color.
So basically, I'm not going to try and fit it in anywhere particular, just want to, you know, just to dust it a bit. Alright, that's there. Maybe dust it a little bit more.
Change that color, random little two color background. Right, so now, you have your kind of soft color background, so basically we're going to go with our more detailed stuff now. So if you've got a slightly darker color, the red, just add some little effects.
It might just be little doodads. You know, bubbles, spots, dots, that whole kind of thing. We might trace that crack down through there, maybe another little crack coming around there.
Just basically it's that thing about keeping the line really skinny, just make sure you're using hardly any pressure at all, and then keeping the can moving because I want to get a thin line as opposed to like a thicker line, so it's like ever so slightly so you almost got like a ghost line going on there. And then you get like a lot finer lines as well. That does take practice, but, like anything, just try it until you get your comfort zone and that right.
So, I will take a darker color now, because now we've got a little bit of a graph stared background. I'm going to use this kind of like, dark sea blue, to go over the top of that. I'm just going to keep it simple and bold, yet again want the detail to be seen, or at least the lettering to be seen, easily readable from a distance.
So, I'm just going to write the word "graf", g-r-a-f. So there's your 'g' and your 'r', and then finish it off. Then you just do like a little squiggle on the bottom, a couple more attentions to detail.
And basically, I guess it would be like a standard graph style type t-shirt ready to wear or personalize for whatever you might be going out on a little day out or whatever. Going to car or pool, going to check your mates and just say, "Look, I got a brand new shirt, the only one in existence, the only one of its kind." And that's with, no time at all, and there you go.
One graph clothing, why not, cheers. .
