How To Do Hairstyles For A Rainy Day
Is it raining outside and you don't want to end up with messy wet hair? Our hair expert Hollie helps out with two hairstyles to brighten any rainy day!
- Hair Ties
Step 1: First Rainy Day Hairstyle
Take a section of hair from the front 2 inches wide, twist it slightly and pin in place. Follow with flicks of hair for the rest of the top section of hair. Push the pinned hair parts slightly forward. This will give you some good volume for the front.
Pull the remaining hair back to quite a high pony tail and secure it in place. Use hairspray or gel to smooth this part.
Split the pony tail into three sections, then twist the hair from the first part around and pin in place. Keep twisting until you have used all three sections. Fix the look with hair spray.
Step 2: Second Rainy Day Hairstyle
Get an elastic hair band and tie the hair from the back of the head into a ponytail. Use clips to hold the hair band in place. Get the front flicks of the hair, twist them loosely and put them back in the band. Do that on both sides of the front to frame the face. Continue with the remaining hair by wrapping it around, section by section, working your way around the head and tucking the hair into the band.
