Hi. My name is Sunita Passi and I'm from a company called Tri-Dosha. We are specialists in training in ayurvedic therapy and also meditation, and we supply products and treatments to some luxury spas around the world.

There are many ways to meditate and I'm here today to talk to you today about a few of the different meditation techniques that you can bring into your life in order to feel happier and healthier. I'm here to tell you about healing meditation. Healing meditation is a meditation that's generally looked at, or most useful, when you have an emotional issue or something that's troubling you from an emotional perspective.

So this might be something that you've experienced; it might be something in your personal life. You might have just had a loss. You might be facing some serious health challenges.

Healing meditation is a type of meditation that's used to actually start to heal the body from a deeper inner level. It tends to focus predominantly on areas such as the heart. And through the practice, it allows you to become a lot more conscious and accepting of things that are going on around you.

So for example, if you've just found out that you have an illness and you're not sure what the outcome's going to be, healing meditation might be something that you want to bring into your life. Another reason you might go to healing meditation is if you've recently had a split from a partner. Again, you might be feeling emotionally uptight and healing meditation is something that will definitely warm you up from the inside and allow you to see things in a much more practical light.

Healing meditation is best accomplished with a healer. If you can find a practitioner, or source of practitioner, or a healer, that resonates with you and that you feel has great compassion, it's actually better to have sessions with this person over a prolonged period of time so that they also act as a support for you while you're going through your transition.
