Okay, how to do jujitsu. We're going to break this down into three parts. There are three different types of jujitsu we're going to teach you today.

First of all is the traditional jujitsu which originated from Japan, which consists of strikes, blocks, holds, restraints, pressure point holds and take-downs. Secondly, we got Brazilian jujitsu which is more grappling and scoring points on the floor using your body position to restrain your opponent tactically. Thirdly, we're going to talk about sport jujitsu which is a combination of striking, take-downs and submission holds to try and defeat your opponent in a competitive situation.

Okay, so the aggressor grabs you by the scruff of the neck. There's a double block down onto the arms and elbow to the side of the head, locking the head and taking down to a throw and then taking the arm into an arm bar. So, this is what it looks like in full speed.

Okay, the second style of jujitsu, Brazilian jujitsu. Mainly grappling, here's a move that you that can be used. There are hundreds of moves.

I'm going to teach you this one today. The opponent pulls guard. From there, they wrap their legs around to keep a secure position.

Hitching the hips to the side allows space to then get the leg around, keeping the body still, so the opponent can front roll forwards. We're now going to entangle the arm, lifting up and applying pressure on the shoulder joint, a kimura until the opponent taps. In Brazilian jujitsu, speed is so important.

Let's see how it should look. There you go. Now, sport jujitsu, a combination of strikes, holds, take-downs and also submissions.

There's a take-down there onto the floor, submission on the shoulder joint there in the kimura. Now that you've seen three different types of jujitsu, you can get an indication into which one you would like to study. The best advice is to go and find a club near and then get yourself down and introduce yourself to your instructor and go from there.

Good luck.
