Jujitsu is a traditional Japanese martial art that has evolved from judo. But you can actually use a jujitsu move to defend yourself.
Right guys, how to do jujitsu moves? What we're going to do today is we're going to show you five different possibilities using jujitsu moves, how to defend yourself from what I like to call the Saturday night special, the big overhand punch that you might get out on the streets in a Saturday night. So, let's have a look at five different versions and then we'll teach you one. Example number one, okay.
Example number two. Example number three. Number four.
Number five. Okay, so let's show you how to do number five. Now, Saturday night special comes in, from there, it's a reach hand block to the arm.
We're going to take our right hand and thrust it in using the thumb – this is nasty now – to strike the jugular off your aggressor. From there, step your right leg across, sweep to the back of the leg, keeping hold of the arm. Now, we wouldn't go for the jugular ones, we're going to go for it again.
The right hand's going to clamp down as a pressure point hold pinning your opponent to the ground. And what you've seen today is an example of how jujitsu in used in traditional Japanese jujitsu. If you'd like to do this or find out more, make contact with the instructor and they will advise you where to go from there. .
