How To Do Milkmaid Braids
This video shows you how to style your hair into milkmaid braids. This look features a halo effect braid that circles the entire head. This angelic look has been seen on celebrities such as Sienna Miller. Hair stylist Hollie Kiernan shows you how to do this gorgeous braid.

Step 1: Prepare And Part The Hair
Start with hair with a tousled feel, add some texturising dust if needed. Part the hair across the crown following down until you reach the ear.
Step 2: Start Braiding
Start with the front section just behind the ear and begin your French braid as normal. Work your braid across the front of the head, picking up hair above and below the braid line as you go.
Step 3: Finish Braiding
Continue your braid all the way around the head until you get back to your starting place. Braid the length of the hair and then secure with a kirby grip.
Step 4: Wrap And Secure The Braid
Wrap the plait around the front of the head and secure in place with a kirby grip. Finish with hair spray to secure the look in place.
