I'm going to show you how to do night make-up. I've got a primer that I'm going to start on the skin. You squeeze a small amount onto your hand and apply.
So, like a small pea size and actually apply on the skin. This is Urban Decay Primer Potion. Next, I'm going to start on some concealing.
Actually, I'm going to use the foundation next which is Bourjois and then concealer will follow. I will use my foundation brush and apply. I'm going to put on some concealer now.
This is the Line Smoothing Concealer by Clinique. Just dot under the eye and blend. It gets rid of any dark shadows and pigmentation.
Next, I'm going to apply some translucent powder. I've got some Estee Lauder Lucidity Translucent. So, put it in the lid. I'm not (delete not!!!) going to use that. Just literally a few grains, powder puff, puff off the excess and press and roll into the skin, like so, across the lips, over the eyes and that's that. And with a nice big fluffy brush, just dust off any excess, like that.
There we go, for a flawless base. We'll start working on the eyes and we're going to choose this palette by Estee Lauder, it's called Wild Violet. Really pretty, sparkly colours in this, an unusual combination, you've got purples and golds.
So I'm going to start with a base shade of the palest shimmery color. First of all, always like to use a pale shade just to start with the base. And initially start on the brow bone and blend down.
Next, I'm going to use the lovely molten gold colour in the palette. So, put that on the eyelid and blend that. Keep blending into the other color.
Now, I'm going to use from this palette the fawny colour, it's like a fawny molten bronze shade. Use another brush, that colour, and I'm going to place that, there, just into the socket and blend that through. It's kind of like an antique gold, so it works really well with the previous colour, and just carry on blending.
Sue's got really large eyes, so this colour works well. Anything too pale on Sue wouldn't work with her eye shape, so the medium to darker tones. I've got a very useful smoky eye shadow brush from Boots No. 7, and I'm going to use the purple in the centre to a very fine pink sparkle. It's really unusual to use as an eye liner, let's see how this pans out and that goes on the upper lid like that. Okay, open for me and then blend that across up to the lash line.
I think, what I'm going to use for the corners is a bit of this Eye Intensifier by Sue DeVitt. It's a coppery gold colour so into the inner corners, I'm going to use that for this party look. Just use the inner corners here and I'm going to blend that one in.
I'm also going to use this under the eye as well for this party look. Okay now, it's time for some mascara. I've got a gorgeous product here from Guerlain. So I'm going to apply the black mascara here with all the lashes, jet black.
Don't worry about any of the smudges; we can take those off with a cotton bud. And use a little bit of this product, it's called Vie At Home.
It's a highlighter liquid; it's called Skin Dew. You could actually mix this with your foundation or just use it on its own, and I'm just going to use it as a cream product just a highlight where I want the light to catch. So, be it the cheekbone area, I can use it on the brow bones, cupid's bow, centre of the nose, any of those areas, really looks flattering.
These are really dinky, these are from Bourjois, and they're mini Bourjois. I'm going to use this shade and apply it on the cheeks. You've already got the highlighter, I'm just going to apply the colour under and just blend that together.
Smile for me on the apples of the cheeks, that's it. Really warming up the skin again, blend that round. Finally, I'm going to apply some lip gloss.
I've got a Guerlain Lip Gloss here, no. 847. I'm going to keep it very soft, the lips, because the eyes are quite smoky and just keep the lips very natural.
This is a beautiful shade, a nice sort of so
