These effortless step-by-step instructions will soon have you on your way to a completely pretty makeup look and many of the actual colors used are mentioned in the video, so you know just which shades can duplicate this look.
I'm now going to show you how to do pretty makeup using these products. I've got the Bobbi Brown foundation, moisturizing. I'm going to use a Mac pigment and I'm also going to use a Bobbi Brown metallic long-lasting long wear cream shadow in brown metal and a nice cream blusher by Top Shop. So, I'm just going to finish off the foundation, so I put some around the eye area. I'm going to use a concealer brush. I'm blending in. This is warm ivory, a natural creamy foundation, just blend in. I don't care to leave pinkness near the eyes. I'm using now the Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer for under the eyes, just a little blob on your hands, get your concealer brush, and just blend the corners long ways with your brush. You could always just use your fingers, too. You don't want any darkness and pinkness near the eyes. You don't need loads of this stuff; a little goes a long way with this product. I'm now going to apply the Bobbi Brown long-wearing eye shadow. I'm going to use my finger for this, it's nice and quick, and blend all over your eyes, a nice pretty shimmer. It's got a nice little edgey sparkle, it's more like a grown up sparkle, I would say, in this. This is not too glittery, just really pretty, and this will act as an eyeshadow base as well. You can just have this on its own or you can build up the layers. So, I'm going to use this as a base, really pretty, and on the other eye as well. And open them for me. People will be able to see the very fine sparkle now. We're now going to wipe on the Mac pigment shade. Now, what I tend to do with this is just take the product from the lid, it's very finely an odorless powder, and just press in on the lid and blend. This shade's called melon, and it will last. One of those tubs will absolutely last you for years and years and years. And they're great, the pigments, because you can mix them with water to get like a paint effect. So, they're multi-purpose, so, also, just blend them on the lid. I'm going to use this beautiful color, peacock green eye pencil from Model's Own. So, you got it sharp on one side and you've got your blender on the other, and I'm going to apply just there. Open for me. Okay, on both eyes, it's a beautiful, beautiful color and it's so easy to apply, it goes on like a dream. It literally, literally just glides on. There we are. Then, you can use your other end to blend. So, it's nice and simple, just blend upwards and across so. Next, I'm going to use the Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara that helps your eyelashes grow. This is in black, a nice chunky brush there, so great to get really fluttery lashes. You just brush these upwards and give it a little wiggle while you're applying as well. It goes right there. And remember, while you're there to paint the outer corners, like so, and then, we go upwards, you can use the tip of the brush just to get to the roots and to the corners. And if you'll look up to the ceiling for me and then brush gently across with the tip, don't worry about any little smudges, you can get rid of those. We're going to add a little spot of pink as well, just to soften it. This is from Model's Own, it's a nice soft pink. So, you get your color, put it in the lid with the eye shadow, tap off any excess and just blend that line in with the pink, and open, and on that eye again. You want the pink blending in on the green. And, open for me, yep. Brush off any loose particles underneath. Now, what I'm going to use is a cream blusher and this one is form Top Shop. It's called Neon Rose; you just literally need a finger part, a fingertip. Just dot on where you want your color and just blend in. And now, because the eyes are quite strong, I'm going to use a lipstick by Top Shop that is a stain and it's called Brighten Rock. So, literally, I'm going to use my finger and apply it just as a stain, so to give it a wash of color. There now, would you open your mouth for me? It's once over gently. Blend that in. That's such a bright color that there are various ways that you can use this, and I'm going to use it as this stain, I think it's really pretty. It just complements, it finishes off the pretty look. And that's how to do pretty make up.
