In this video, I'm going to show you some rollerblading tricks. I'm going to cover some jumps, weaving, and a barrel roll. I'm going to show you some techniques on how to jump on rollerblades.

Basically, you need your jump set up at quite a low height, something like this, or you can make it a lot lower if you're just starting off. Basically, when you approach the jump, you're going to need an area where you take off and an area where you can land clear and free. Before you take off, you're going to want to crouch down and bend your knees to get a bit of spring.

Before you jump, you're going to want to get a nice momentum going towards the jump. When you approach the jump, you're going to want to crouch down, jump, and bend when you reach the other side. It's important to land and bend your knees when you hit the other side.

If you land with straight legs, you might fall over. It's also best to try and keep your upper body straight. If you lean too far forward, you'll fall on your face.

If you're too far back, you'll kick your feet from underneath yourself and land on your back. I'll show you again. While you're approaching it, bend your knees, jump, and bend when you land.

Try to keep your feet flat and together at all times. Now, I'm going to show you how to do a bit of weaving on your blades. Basically, you get a few cones, cans, or whatever you can find and set them up in a long line.

What you're going to start off doing is an easy one at first. Just go in and out forwards, just weaving in and out of the cones. When you get around to the other end, you can pick up a different style, like going backwards.

When you've got the backwards going, you can go open, cross, open, cross, open, and cross. You can do the same thing going forwards. Just open, cross, open, cross, just keep it weaving at all times.

That's how to do weaving. Now, I'm going to show you how to do a barrel roll. Here are a few basic tips to get you going.

Once you do it, it does look really good. You want to start off by finding a little cone as your centre point, and we're going to work around this. What you want to do when you start off is always try and keep the cone in the middle, and keep your body to one side.

You want to push out to one side of it, then your back foot is then going to cut in behind it. Then, you lead with the next foot, push out with your right foot, and cut past the cone again. That's basically the straightway.

So, you go past it, back, out past it, and back again. Basically, you want to keep that going. Remember to keep your feet going outwards, backwards, and outwards in straight lines.

That's how to do tricks on rollerblades. .
