How To Do Summer Hairstyles

Learn how do yourself a summer hairstyle, especially when you're on vacation or in a high temperature region with little accessories, make yourself look fab in the heat.

We're just going to do a summer hairstyle here, so this is for more if you're going abroad, maybe Ibiza or a nice festival or a wedding in the heat, it will really be nice to have your hair off your face and it's very flattering how you make your face feel which also means you're not getting too hot and it's just nicer than wearing it in a ponytail or scrunched up in a bun. So, the great thing about this look is that you don't need any products, you don't need tongs, straighteners, anything. So, if you are at a festival, well, maybe at holiday, you don't have to take all that stuff with you, it's really simple.

So, it's best to start this look on one side, it doesn't really matter what side, and if you've got a fringe and you're on holiday, then this is absolutely perfect because you can just scoop everything up and get everything out of the way so that you don't get too hot. So, you're just going to start as you would a normal plait, your section of hair which is about two inches. The most important thing to remember when you're doing this particular plait is to move your hands around the head where you're plaiting and that just prevents you from getting those saggy bits of hair that you get sometimes when you're French plaiting.

So, whether you do have dark hair, it's really nice to do this plait so it stands out a little bit more, you can find out that when you've got blonde hair and your highlights accentuate your plaits a little bit more, but when you're dark, you don't see quite so much, so to make it stand out, we're plaiting as you would normally. Instead of going over the top, you're just taking the hair underneath and then to the middle. So, exactly the same as you would do with a normal plait but instead of taking it over and into the middle, you're just taking it underneath.

When you're coming up the other side, it's probably the trickiest bit because you're going upside down with your plait. So, just remember to keep it really close to the hairline. So, when you're plaiting up the other side, so you've come around, and now, we're going here, it's really important to keep it close to the hairline because this is the trickiest bit really and this is where you end up getting the saggy bits, so just keep it nice and close and when you run out of hair to put in, just keep plaiting.

You're going to tuck it back in the other side and then plait it right to the end because the least amount of hair you've got here, you've at least to try and hide, so just keep plaiting it and then we're going to use these kind of small translucent hair bands just to secure that end and then pop that inside your plait. That's probably the only time when you're going to need a curvy grip, actually. So, once we've secured that so that it's nice and tight, we're going to go around and undo our good work, taking your thumb and forefinger and just going around and kind of softening that off a little bit.

And that's it, that's your hairstyle for the summer. .
