Step 1: Setting Up The Trick

Hello and welcome. Today I will show you a trick called "connecting the boxes". The playing area is a square inside in which we have six boxes, four on a straight line and one here.

Step 2: Objective & Rules

The object is to connect the boxes with ones, boxes with twos and the boxes with threes with a line .

The rule is the line can never cross another line and you have to stay inside the box. So if we want to connect the ones we could draw a line like this, but if we want to connect the threes we could draw a line like this and this.

Step 3: Solution

Most people won’t be able to figure it out because the line between the threes will cut off the lines between the ones or the twos, but you when you see the actual solution it will be come pretty obvious. Let’s show you. Now we have a possibility to connect the ones and the twos without the lines crossing. That was the trick connecting the boxes. Thank you for watching see you next time.
