Had to try it. Got 3 mpg less with the acetone on a 620km (each way) highway trip using cruise control both ways. Don't bother, it's a farce.

This is bunch of BS. Sounds like an opinion. The most contributing factor for fuel economy is your driving style. If you race at every stoplight and drive like an a$$hole then of course you gotta pay the price at the pump.

Putting mothballs in your tank is effective. Mothballs are 99% Naphthalene. Self explanatory. No damage to vehicle.
why don't you just mix in a little sugar and clorox while your at it. Wanna save money on gas? Get off your fat ass and ride a bike, take the bus, or god forbid.....WALK!

You can use less gas with acetone. Since it will damage your car you'll be taking a lot of long walks since it will dissolve any rubber hoses it gets in contact with.

Bunk, turning off and turning on engine at stoplights will definitely hurt mileage.
