How To Draw A Cartoon Car

VideoJug and Cartoonist Stephen Marchant from the Cartoon Museum in London, have joined forces to show you how to draw the perfect Cartoon car. Use these simple tips to make your cartoon car absolutely excellent.

Step 1: Rough outline

Start your car off with a simple rectangle shape for the body. Put another small rectangle on the top and finally mark where you would like the wheels to be. . Check your pencil outline before you carry on.

Step 2: Details

Once you've got your general shape, go over the whole outline with your pen. Start your details with things like the headlights, bumpers, the grill and windows. Add the mirror and a door with a small handle. To finish, give your boy racer some exhaust fumes.

There you go, a cartoon car… vroom vroom!
