How To Draw A Cartoon Fairy

Hi, my name is Mik, Mik Brown at miko-cartoon.com. I'm a cartoonist and I'm going to show you how to draw some cartoon.

Let's have fun! I'm now going to show you how to draw a cartoon fairy. Right. Of course a little cartoon fairy.

Again, that all has to be very, very rounded. So we start off, again very rounded. I tend to do a sort of smaller forehead and a little nose, just an indication of a nose.

Going to be quite an indication of the eyes, at the moment all we want is just a general, general indication. And then I start changing things because I want to reposition stuff etcetera, you know. So I think; perhaps we should put the mouth down, just a little mouth.

And let me put a little neck and the little body. This is a flower fairy, so she's going to have petals. She's a flower pot fairy .

And little petals around the, around her waist. There we go and then we give her ears. But I couldn't decide where to put hair.

But can you see? You can just about see her little legs down there, and the tiny arm and a tiny hand. So join slowly; we want a feminine creature, she's got a little wand. There we go, we want a little star at the end of the wand.

Now we'll draw some wings, they sort of are like butterfly wings. Always important to do nice little reflection on the eyes and the. Let's do a few little eye lashes on top there. And put some shading shadow on her cheeks.

A then a little line there to indicate the shadow of a cheek. Just a nose, a little line, nothing more than that, nothing more is needed. Flying around in the flower garden.
