How To Draw A Cartoon House

Step 1: Rough Outline

Start with a large rectangle shape. Next sketch out the shape of the roof – ours is pitched on the side and flat on the top. Check your pencil outline before you carry on.

Step 2: Details

Begin with the chimney and go over the rest of the roof. Draw a big front door with a window, a post box and a door knob. Next, draw the windows. Make them square in shape with detailed window sills. Make the window downstairs the largest of all and maybe even give it a different style. Choose what else to add to your house. For example you could add an outhouse or a garage and maybe some trees.
