How To Draw A Cartoon King
Watch this VideoJug video, presented by cartoonist Stephen Marchant, to see how to draw a cartoon king. From the crown to his smart little shoes, this video shows you all you need to know about drawing a cartoon king.
Step 1: Rough Outline
Draw your king a head to begin with then a long body. As our king is wearing a robe, draw his little feet sticking out the bottom. Draw his first arm waving to his people, then draw the other. Check your pencil outline before you carry on.
Step 2: Details
Now fill in the details around his face. Start with his most prized possession... his crown! Draw two small ears on either side of his head and a long beard. Mark two dots for his eyes, a small circle for his nose, the top of his beard, and a happy smile peeking out from the middle. Add some detail to his garments, like lapels for his long royal robes. Begin to add hand details, like fingers and a thumb for his waving hand. Finish off by giving him some smart little shoes.
All hail the king!
