How To Draw A Cartoon Woman
Draw your cartoon woman with help from VideoJug and cartoonist Stephen Marchant. We here at the Cartoon Museum in London will show you all you need to do to create your cartoon woman, from drawing her hair, to her accessories.
Step 1: Rough outline
Firstly start with her head. Pop a little stick on her neck and then mark on the body. Add on two long legs and make sure they are even in length. Next mark on the arms and again, make sure they are the same length. Mark out her waist and actually bring the body in and then out for the hips to give her a more womanly shape. . Check your pencil outline before you carry on.
Step 2: Details
Once you're happy with her shape, give her head some detail. Mark the ears and maybe add on some earrings. Give her a jaw line and some hair. Next are the eyes, eyebrows, nose and full lady-like lips. Now give her some clothes to wear: A T-Shirt with a round neck and short sleeves. Give her slender arms and fingers and thumbs. Put her in some jeans and finish off with a fetching pair of high-heeled shoes.
There you go - a cartoon girl about town!
