How To Draw A Dragon Head

I'm Mik, Mik Brown from Miko-illustration.com and Miko-cartoon.com, and now I'm going to show you how to draw a few animals.

Let's get drawing. Okay, now I'm going to show you how to draw a dragon's head. Let's try on a round, again, always starting on a nice round shape.

To this drawing, I'm going to add a quite of sort of pointed for this guy. Now let's see, put the eyes above there and horns coming out there, back here. It's funny, you know, when I draw characters that are being serious or angry, I always put an angry expression on my face.

It's really weird and for anybody that would be drawing them, it would be really a surprise. Different expressions I might put on my face because it does help, it helps tremendously on putting the expression on the character that you are drawing on their face because you really get involved in the feeling of the character, happy or sad or so on. So, bring this up a bit and I'm now going to make this quite pointed, the nostrils here, just about there, they are round.

We are making these characters up as we go along. The great thing about drawing is you sort of copy something and when you get into the comfort of copying something, then you can start drawing your own designs and make up your own characters. Here we go.

Again, texture, it's nice to add texture, and that's his fins at the back of the neck and let's put up his tail swinging up behind him there. And that's how to draw a dragon's head.
