How To Draw A Football

Today, I am going to show you how to draw a few objects. I am now going to show you how to draw a football. Footballs are constructed of five-sided shapes, just a very clever little construction but I am just emphasizing these.

So you draw the larger five-sided shape in the center and then as it gets toward the edge, that five sided shape becomes smaller, and it disappears around the edge of the football. Quite complicated, but once you get the technique down, you just sort of fill in the edges of the round bit up of the football. So of course, when it's inflated, it's a nice circle.

These sqaures are black, I'll add a few black ones in there and then we'll leave that one separated like that, and I'm going to put one down here. I'm putting a bit of shade on that side of the ball. A speed line will just show it being hit into the goal.
