How To Draw A Pokemon

I have been playing Pokemon for over 10 years and yes, I have caught them all. OK, in this video I am going to show you how to draw your own Pokemon. OK, now I will admit that I am not that good at drawing, but there are a few things that you can do to make sure that your drawing looks like a Pokemon.

First of all, study the Pokemon you are trying to draw and work out its key points. Now in this case, this little guy, you can't tell who it is. But if I add a couple of triangle ears with a black top and a jagged tail; all of a sudden we have a Pikachu.

Again, it's tough to tell what this guy is going to be. But if I put a bit of a bottle nose on it, a circle of a head and a bit of a slit of an eye, a couple of circles on the back and we have a Cyndaquil. Now, one of the interesting things you can do with a Cyndaquil, is again bottle nose with a circle of a head, is instead of drawing the back, just draw a few jagged flames.

And you've got fire on the back. And that's a few quick key points on how to draw a Pokemon.
