I'm going to show you how to draw a funny face. He's going to be a cartoon star, so we're going to start with a circle which is going to be the eye, and another circle, we'll do a slightly smaller one, and within those circles, do two little black marks. The wall is touching each other which are going to be the pupils in the eyes.

Now, join them to the second eye that you've just drawn here, we're going to draw a nose and come out more or less because this is a cartoon and so this is what it should be, and when you come around like that, you just curl in with a swirl, and we've got the nose. Now, we're going to draw the mouth, so we're going to come down off the edge of the nose and we're going to do a big grinning smile in, like this, and you want some teeth showing, so from here, we're going to come down again, but this time, we're going to come out and we're going to leave a gap there which then we can just fill in. We do some straight lines.

You can fill them in the teeth and one more along the middle left. You get some teeth showing. Now, we're going to work on the lower part of the face, so from here, we're going to just put a little bump cap on that which is going to be the bottom lip, and we're going to come down with a curvy line there which is going to be through the bottom of the face.

So, we're doing quite a lot, obviously, this is a cartoon anyway, so round it off from the bottom. That should be the bottom of the neck and then you come back up like that, you can curve down really as much as you like, depending on how wide you want the face to be. So then, we're going to do a little shape like that which is going to be the ear, couple of marks to show the little ear.

Now, we're going to put some eyebrows above the eyes, so we're just going to just do two little shapes like that, and now we've come to the hair. Obviously, you can do whatever type of hair you like, you can do a shaky style or you know swept back or whatever you like. But I'm going to do curly hair, so we will do shapes like this for the curls, come out level or just in front of the eyes depending on how big you want the hair to be, and we should come back down joining on to the back of the ear like that.

We'll just do a few little shapes inside just to show the curls and a little bit of shape just above the ear like that. Now, the face is pretty much down, but after you've given him a mustache, so if you want to do a mustache, you can just do some straight lines coming down from the nose like that and a little bit, and then we just do one line here which is the side of his mouth where he's grinning. And that is how you draw a funny face. .
