How To Draw Mr Krabs

Hello, my name is Jamie Sale. I'm a freelance cartoonist from Essex and I am going to be teaching you how to draw a cartoon. This is how we draw Mr.

Krabs from Spongebob. Firstly, we start off with a soft triangular shape to represent his body. It goes all the way to a tip there.

Draw a line about this far down, that's going to be his shirt. That's going to be the top of his trousers; this line here and we just added his mouth. He's got a funny sort of narrow nose as well.

And he's got these two kind of jutting eyes so we will just draw in some sausage shaped circles there. Next, we are going to draw his clothes so we will just draw two great big circles here and that is where his shoulder is so we will just draw a line there for now, so for that same thing, then a circle here and a circle here for where his legs are going to go. That will be his legs there.

We going to draw a belt buckle, a square and the belt comes around and goes up to here then stops and starts again. The belt buckle goes all the way around to the side here. Okay, now to draw his claws in a bit more detail.

There it circles around, arches around there and then it's quite sort of sharp, so then edges to the inside of his claw and that goes on around. Then we extend his arms out so that they get thicker and we build his sleeve. This becomes his shirt collar.

Repeat the same for this claw. So we will do his eyes in a bit more detail now. Tend to get bigger as they go out, and he's got funny shaped eyelashes on top of his eyes, like that.

Then it is simply a case of going over it in more detail a bit harder. Once you have done that, you shade in the black bits which in this case it's just going to be his belt. And that is how you draw Mr.

Krabs. .
