How To Draw Spongebob Characters

I'm Ben Jones.I'm a cartoonist and in these videosI'm going to be showing you how to draw a variety of cartoons and characters.

Hi! Today, in this video,I'm going to be showing you how to draw the Sponge Bob characters starting with, number one, Sponge Bob.



Now, for this video we're going to be using a 6B pencil, which is nice and bold, and a barrel fine liner for the pen.

As you know, Sponge Bob is kind of like a big cube really but he's got a wavy outline. So that's whatI'm going to start with.



Donâ't worry too much about getting exactly these; it's just a wavy line. The position of Sponge Bob's mouth is little below half-way up.

Ok, now the eye.

The left eye goes behind the cheek.

And nowI'm going to start the arm, the left arm.

Ok so nowI'm going to do the body.



So now you have your pencil Sponge Bob Square Pants. So the next step is to go over it with pen.

Ok so you will notice that on Sponge Bob that some of the lines are much thicker.

These include the eyelashes, the line around the eye, the mouth and nose, the arms, the shirt, trousers and legs.

So, once you've finished rubbing out all your lines, the pencil lines that you donâ't want, here you have your finished Sponge Bob Square Pants.
