Rihanna is most definitely the modern day style icon. She's got the body, she's got the money, and she's definitely got the dress sense. But I'm going to give you a few cheat tips on how you too can achieve the Rihanna look.

When you think of Rihanna's style, you've got to think cameleon. She is always reinventing herself and trying out the craziest combinations. However, there are just a few things that she always kind of falls back on and first of all, if you want to look like her, you need to own a bodice.

It's in her latest videos but she always seems to go for a bodice, something that's going to show off your boobs. So, if you're like Rihanna and you've got a good pair of boobs, then one of these is great. Next of all, she's never too far away from showing off her legs either.

So, going for a pair of hot pants type of shorts is a really good bet. These are just a pair of jeans that have had the legs cut off so if you've got an old pair of jeans that you want to create the same look with, you can do that too. Remember, if your legs aren't the best but you still want to create this, wear thick opaque tights underneath or leggings and of course, if it's freezing cold, always wear leggings underneath anyway.

Next item is the fitted leather jacket. She always wears something that kind of mixes and matches together her feminine side with that quirky masculine twist. So, something that's quite heavy but plays off the femininity of her bodice, and the same applies to her footwear.

While she loves her heels, she also loves wearing workman boots and mixing and matching it together in a crazy quirky style with a bodice. And the other item that she's well-known for wearing workman boots with is a party dress, something very very elegant that works with both of those. It's completely off the wall and completely Rihanna, and then the final thing that this Barbadian beauty is always got is a pair of parrot perched style earrings.
