Hi, my name's James and I'm from 64th & Social again and I'm going to talk to you a little about bourbon. Bourbon is made in the States and it has to be at least 51 percent corn and has to be aged in new American barrels to be classed as a bourbon. There are other American whiskeys out there that are not bourbons, Jack Daniels, for example, is charcoal filtered and can not be classed as a bourbon.
Bourbon's great for mixing a lot of classic drinks from America, where it was originated and Manhattan, Whiskey Sour, come form bourbon, come from America. Some bourbons are best drank neat, some are best mixed and they're all brilliant. And that's how you drink bourbon.
