How To Dust Successfully

Step 2: Start at the top

Work on one area at a time starting with the highest. Remove all ornaments and picture frames that can be removed from the dusting surface and place to one side.

If you find it difficult to reach the shelf use a dusting stick. Run it along the shelf working it right into the corners.

Spray a little polish onto the duster, then dust of the ornaments before you replace them. Spraying onto the duster rather than the item allows you to control where the polish goes and prevents smears.

Step 3: Move down

Move onto the next shelf down. Remove the items. Dust the surface using a duster if you can reach. Then dust and replace the ornaments.

Keep going until you have dusted the entire area.
