Now, this is somewhat of a confusing point for some users as in 2003 you used to get prompt. You used to get a prompt that pops up. You open up all that contains a macro and you get a prompt saying “Do you want to enable or disable macros.

” That is not the case in 2010 and 2007. Let us have a quick look. I have got a macro file here debugging example.

I am going to open that one up quick. No prompt. It does not ask me.

It pops up as a bar in the exact same location, so what you have to do is you have to go enable content and that enables your content over here. Within 2007, it actually pops up a dialog box asking you, or up to 2007 real quick just to show you what you can expect over there. Brought up 2007, opened up the same file, have a look, macros have been disabled.

Notice how the bar is gray and not as prominent as in 2010. Here, what you have to do is to go to option and hit enable and then OK. You have now allowed macros in office 2007 and 2010.
