Step 1: On Approach

    this in not a hook slide; never go into second base with your exposed hand to touch the base ..the correct method is to slide with your right leg facing the outfield, with your left leg bent so that your left foot grabs the base and you body is leaning to the right ..followinging your right foot/leg.
