There are various ways of getting rid of or fading, actually, acne scars, and you can go to your doctor or dermatologist and talk with them about it. There are various options. One would be laser.
You have a non-invasive laser. You have a more-invasive type of laser. But you have to really consult a dermatologist or doctor about what type of laser is actually suitable for you.
You can go for chemical peels and dermabrasion as well, exactly working in the same way as a laser in a lesser way. Basically, by reducing the thickness of the scar and bringing it down to actually the same layer of skin, the same thing applies for peels. As with laser or with dermabrasion, there can be, in some instances, it is quite painful and cause skin irritation and redness, and if you have darker skin, you should definitely avoid those.
Now, you can do two things which are actually less invasive, and one is a silicon sheet treatment which you get from your dermatologist. What you do is you actually apply the silicon sheet directly onto the scars, and it does actually regenerate the scar, but you need to be quite patient with all of these treatments because they may actually take quite a long period of time and work to a better or lesser degree depending on your skin. And that's how to fade acne scars. .
