How To Feng Shui - Career

Hi, my name is Sarah McAllister. I'm the founding director of Feng Shui Agency. I'm delighted to give you some general tips but please note they are not substitute of professional Feng Shui consultant's advice.

So, how can we use Feng Shui to improve your career? Well, the first thing to look at for people who are stagnant in their career is the form of the property, so look to the left hand side of your house. If you stand outside the front of your house and look to the left, that is the dragon side, that is the male side, and it's responsible for grasping opportunities. If it is quite weak, in terms of having no fence, or no wall, or no height whatsoever, or even a shared drive way, it is compromising the career potential of people in that house.

So, the recommendation is to build up that side if you can. If you have a shared boundary, then try to use a trellis or something like that, anything that will create a sense of being able to hold the chi on that side of the property. Particularly if you live in a house where the right side is higher than the left, you really need to be able to hold on to the chi because a house is just like a body.

You need to be able to draw the chi towards you, okay, just as in the tai chi stance. You can stand like this and circulate energy. You need to have the means to bring energy towards the property.

Just like a house is a body, we need to have the ability to draw the chi towards us, like in the tai chi stance when we're circulating energy bringing the energy towards the hara of the body towards the dantian. We need to be able to bring the chi towards the house. That is the most important consideration for career.

The other important consideration for career in general is to look in the north position of the house because this is to do with journey and vocation. Is it missing from the property, is it compromised in any way, is it full of clutter, is it a disused room that has become a storage room? You need to brighten and organize and lift the chi in that room. Place images of career, successful images of career success.

Put your certificates in this area. Another good general tip to help your career is to occupy the power position of the meeting room. So, the power position of the meeting room is diagonally opposite the main door.

You have a solid wall behind you, you can see all the rest of the room, so you're the person occupying the power position. Do not go and sit with your back towards the door if you can possibly avoid it as this will undermine you. .
