Hello, I'm Thomas from the Kitesurf Centre. Today, I'm just going to show you a couple of tips on how to fly a kite and how to get into these brilliant sports of kite flying. This is a quick guide of where to find a kite for sale in different places.

So, a good place to start is find a local kite shop. They're going to have loads of information. Go and have a chat, see what sort of kites you're looking for, whether it's just a little kite to start with or your kitesurfing equipment.

There are loads of kitesurfing shops around the country, so you just go and Google and check out in your local. Another good place is there are lots of online shops. There are quite a lot that have been going on for a few years, so a good one, we've got the Kite Centre, our own shop and we also got Power Kite Shop, there are loads of kites, King of Watersports and we've got Session 1 and Kite It Right, lots of online shops.

So they're all pretty repped and probably got a big range, and if you give them a call as well, they'll give you some good info. If you don't want to buy brand new, maybe you want to check out some second-hand stuff. It's a bit too expensive but you can be, especially if the kite is a surfing equipment.

Some really good places to look for kites and equipment are some kite forums. All the people on there are kite surfers themselves so you can get some good advice from them and often some pretty good prices. So, type kite forums into Google but some good ones, a good one for kitesurfing equipment is the kiteboarder forum.

Another one is kite crowd or this one called kite forum but that's more of an international one, so not quite so good in the UK. For just power kites and just for stuff on the land, the kite crowd one's good or another one called kite buggies and boards. So, if you've got a feel, then you can check out and you'd be able to find some pretty good products on there.

Ebay can be good. You're just going to make sure you know what you're looking for because there's a lot of pretty old stuff that people are trying to just shift. So make sure if you are looking on some stuff and you're not quite sure, it's good to put perhaps a link on the forum or maybe phone up someone you know at kites or ask for advice at your local kite school or kite shop.

So, that's just a quick guide of where to find a kite and good places to buy them. .
