Lacrosse is a team sport played with a long stick strung to a loose mesh on its head. If you want to catch and hold the ball and score like a pro, this is how you can find the best lacrosse sticks for it.
Hi, I'm Seb. I play lacrosse for Hillcroft Lacrosse Club over here. I'm just going to tell you a little bit about where you can buy sticks in the UK.
Okay, as you can imagine, you can't really go down to your local sports store and just buy a lacrosse stick. It's not really that widely done here in the UK. So, the only real place you can buy them online which is really reliable is uklacrosse dot com.
That's the UK site where you can buy them online and then they'll send them out to you, in our experience, very quickly. So, just go now on the internet. Other alternatives are you can go out on lacrosse clubs and try to pick them up second hand or alternatively go into lacrosse forums which is like an online forum for lacrosse players in the UK and just send out a message and ask for something and people get back to you really quickly.
There are other things you can do if you want to go to America which you can buy sticks at a much better price and it's a lot easier to get a hold of them. So, if you've got probably any of your friends go to America, you can ask them to pick up some lacrosse stuff for you. Alternatively, just go to UK Lacrosse, they'll sort you out for what you need.
There are differences in prices, obviously. If you buy a defensive pole, you can see the defensive pole's out there. The other one's about six-foot long so it's twice as long as this.
Usually, I'm using about twice as expensive for the metal but, you know, you can check it out. Obviously, they're ranged in from the very expensive ones to the cheaper ones and you know, you got to judge on how much you want to spend and how long you want your lacrosse stick to last. As a bit of consumer advice, I go for the Brine.
I tend to go with the brand. Here, I've got the Brine free head which I absolutely would just live my life by. It's fantastic head.
I also play with the Brine shot. Brine's a little bit more difficult to get a hold of. You can actually get a hold of both these two models off UK Lacrosse but they tend to just sell Warrior again.
That's the most common in the UK but it's pretty much similar. I mean, when you're starting out lacrosse, it's certainly not going to tell the difference. So, you could just go for Warrior stock on UK Lacrosse probably.
If you want to get hold of a mesh, there's a really good site that does that. It's called monstermesh dot com or to play in the UK, you might want to Google it. But they can just buy with the string separately and therefore it's about ten pounds for a stringing kit and you got to get one of your friends who knows how to string it and learn or just go on to the internet and learn how to do it yourself.
There are plenty of tutorials in YouTube. And that's how to find lacrosse sticks for sale. .
