How To Find Your IP And MAC Address On An Apple Mac
If you want to know what your Apple Mac's IP or MAC addreess is -- that's the Internet Protocol or Physical Address -- this little film shows you how to find out.
Step 1: IP Address
Head on up to the Apple menu in the top left of the screen. Click it, and go to System Preferences. Once that's open, click on the Network icon. You should see your IP address under the method through which you are connected to the internet; sometimes that's Airport, or it might be Ethernet, etc.
Step 2: MAC address
Go to the Apple menu in the top left of the screen, and click it. Then click on ‘About This Mac'.
Once the dialogue window opens, click on ‘More Info', and you'll find your MAC address under the ‘Network' section.
