Your computer's MAC address is easy to find. This film takes you through what you need to know to work out what your physical MAC address is...
Step 1: Using Windows XP/2000/NT
Click on the start button on the Windows task bar. Click Run. In the text box type the letters cmd. This launches a command prompt window. Type the command ipconfig/all and press enter. You will now see a long list of data. In amongst this you will find your physical address listed, otherwise known as your MAC address.
Step 2: Using Windows Vista
Click on the start button on the Windows task bar. Type Command Prompt in the search field. Click on Command Prompt once it appears. In the command prompt window type ipconfig/all and press enter. Amongst the data, you will find the computer's physical, or MAC, address listed.
