Today, I am going to talk how to find your passion. Passion - it is a great word that has been bandied about a lot lately. But, I think it is something that is key and different way to look at it, how to feel alive and how to feel connected and in your flow or on track.

All of those can really be the same as finding your passion. Now, we can find passion in our personal life as well as in our professional life. There is no reason why we need to hate our job to just earn money, but then when we come home, we pick up a hobby or do something that inspires us.

I think finding your passion in all areas of your life is really keeping you healthy and happy. So, how do you find your passion? It is not actually as difficult as people think it is. It is really about paying attention to the little things.

What I suggest you do is carry around a really small notebook and every minute of the day, as often as you can, make a note of the things that you're enjoying. If you find that time really flies and you're not conscious of what is going on around you and you're really absorbed and engaged in what you're doing, then more than likely, you're passionate about what you're doing. If you find that you're clock watching or it feels like time is dragging endlessly or you really wish you were somewhere else, then my guess is you're not really passionate about what you're doing or how you're spending your time in whatever activity that it is.

So, start to make a note on a daily basis of the things that you absolutely loved that feeds you and things that tends to really, really drain you and make you fell weak and tired at the end of it. Do not forget your passion mixed up with what you're good at. You can be really good at something but not necessarily passionate about it.

You know, I could mop the floor really well but I am not passionate about it. So, do not confuse what you're good at with what you're passionate about. Passion is about something that makes you feel alive.

Make a note on the small day-to-day basis and at the end of the week, review your lists and you will start to see a pattern. And then, look at how you can implement it to bring more things that you are enjoying and start to weed out the things that you do not necessarily enjoy and that leaves you feel a filling drained. So, that is how to really find your passion.
