Hello, my name is John from On Your Bike in London. I've been a bike mechanic for 12 years. I'm going to show you a few things about bikes.

Things like setting the height and setting it up, setting the correct size and a few maintenance tips as well. To size a right bike, something like this, if you're spending lots of money, then go into the shop and they'll professionally measure you and they'll make sure it's a perfect fit. But to give you a quick rundown on how you size a bike, you want the pedals in the low position, you want the saddle height so your leg is almost straight in the bottom.

In terms of the length of the frame, if you put your elbow on the saddle, your index finger, you want to put there, and that will give you the length. So, the saddle would need to go back a little bit for me, it's a bit little too tight. The top two, the width of the bars as well, they need to be correct for the width of your shoulders.

So the width of your shoulder should be the width of the bar. If you get that wrong, then you find it very uncomfortable and you're laying down too much. Or if the bar is too narrow, then you'll be a bit too upright and again you'll be uncomfortable.

So to get the correct width as well as length of the frame and the height as well, so those 3 dimensions you should get a good fitting bike. .
