The key to fixing a relationship is to look at your communication. Also, be sure to keep your individualism and don't merge into one person. This can cause problems because there is no separation.
Today, I'm going to talk to you about how to fix a broken relationship. Now, when we first get together with somebody, we have the whole newlywed phase. And then, once you get more settled, there are lots of things you start to learn about each other, which can really either help you grow together or bring in some challenges.
Sometimes, if the challenges are quite big, you might actually feel that you've reached a point where you want to separate or spend some time apart. Now, a great way to look at how to fix that and really how to mend a broken relationship is to, first of all, sit down and look at, what are our differences? So, everybody brings their own stuff to a relationship, so have a look at what are your differences and how can you find a happy medium. Also, look at the time that you're spending together.
Sometimes when people enter into a relationship, they're either spending too much or too little time together. You're two separate people and this idea of two people merging as one can be quite dangerous, so make sure you still maintain your identities within a relationship so that every time you are getting together, you're still fresh and happy and have a whole social life rather than trying to do half of one life and half of another and bring it together and merge it as one. So, have a look at the communication.
Are you speaking on different wavelengths? Sometimes, we can mean something but it comes out in the wrong way, so look at the way your partner actually communicates and see how can I maybe meet that person in the middle and talk in a way or communicate in a way that they can hear and understand you? Sometimes, it makes sense to us but it might not be coming across in the same way, so have a look at your communication. Have a look at how much time you're spending with each other. Sometimes, you're going to spend too much time together but sometimes, you might be spending too little time together.
So, why not look at setting yourself a date tonight? Take turns and let one person set a date tonight and let it be a mystery. You don't have to tell the other person what you're going to do. Surprise them.
That always adds a bit of variety and spices up the relationship. So, as long as you keep it varied, you make sure that you're plugging into each other, you're communicating properly, you make sure that you still keep separate lives, and you take into consideration the way each of you think differently and behave differently, there's no reason why you can't fix a relationship and get back on track. .
