I am going to show you how to dry a mobile phone. The most important thing is to get it dried as quickly as possible. Take your damp phone and drop it in a bowl of dry rice overnight, and the rice will soak the water out of your phone.

And hopefully, next time, you will be able to talk with your phone. Put your SIM card back in. Put your battery back in and with a bit of luck, your phone would have recovered from getting wet.

Don't expect your warranty to cover it from getting wet. However dry you get, the manufacturer will always be able to tell the phones has got wet because they could tell from the marks on the printed circuit board couldn't have dried and they will always show as being submerged in water.
