How To Fix Marks On The Furniture

Step 1:

You will need

• Furniture Polish
• Cigarette Ash
• White Spirit
• Cloth
• Linseed oil or Bees wax
• Soft polishing cloth

Step 2:

Clean up

Wipe away the spill and rub the area with furniture polish

If that doesn't clear it you'll need to use an abrasive. A good one to use is Cigarette ash mixed with white spirit. Make the paste and using a cloth rub it on the stain in the direction of the wood grain until the white mark disappears.

Rub plain linseed oil or bees wax into the area

Give the area a good rub with a soft polishing cloth along the direction of the grain

You may wish to finish by waxing or polishing the whole table to give it a good finish.
