Step : You Will Need

  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Sugar, brown, white or caster
  • 2 tbsp Alcohol, high proof like brandy or cognac
  • 1 Mango, or ingredient of your choice
  • 1 Frying Pan
  • 1 Spatula
  • 1 taper or match

Step 1: Heat the Pan

Heat pan for one minute

Step 2: Add the Butter

Add 2 tablespoons of butter to heat but be careful not to burn. If your butter does burn start again as your whole dish will taste charcoaly.

Step 3: Melt the Sugar into the Butter

Add 3 tablespoons of sugar and let it melt into the butter. Turn the heat down if the mix starts to bubble. Keep stirring or the sugar will stick

Step 4: Add your Ingredients

Add your ingredients and break down any larger chunks with your spatula.

Step 5: Add the Alcohol

Add 2 tablespoons of alcohol and mix with fruit.

Step 6: Light The Alcohol

Light the alcohol and a red flame should appear across the pan. Take extra care with this part.

Step 7: Let Flame burn out and Serve

Wait for the flame to burn out and then you are ready to serve.
