How To Fold Serviettes

Hi,my name is Luigi and I am the maestro on the art of napkin folding. What we're doing today here is a demonstration on the napkin, which comes from my book "Luigi's language of napkin folding". What we're doing now is three by three fold.

We take an ordinary napkin and we just fold it this way, and that way, and then again 3x3. And we have a napkin which is folded. Now, I've got here some example and therefore, what we're doing now, is the Dutch fold.

We take each section, folded in half, and we just roll it like this, and then the next one.And this is called a Dutch fold. Now then, now we're going to do Fold nouveau. We've got exactly the same napkin, we take this section, fold it into this corner, and the other section into that corner, left and right.

We just cross it over and what we have is this Nouveau fold. We're doing now an Italian fold. Again, exactly the same napkin, folded in three, we take the very first section and we fold it this way, and you have got an Italian fold.

We take another napkin, and now we're doing the Fresh fold. Now, this is also called the Three waves. What you do here is take a napkin, you fold it the first part this way, then the second one goes this way, and then once more, and then this, and this is called the Three waves.
