Alright, today, I'm going to teach you how to do a front flip. And there are three basic parts to a front flip. The first part is your hands and where to place them.

You need to have your hands apart, your fingers apart and wide, and you also need to have your arms directly in line with your shoulders, slightly bent arms. The second part is your legs, where to place them and a bit of a run-up, and the third part is the actual flip, but we'll break it all down and show you how to do it. So, the first step is number one, is your hands.

Okay, so if you're going to do a front flip, the main thing to do is to be strong in your shoulders and your back. You are going to use all your muscles in this move and you need to make sure that you have control of it all. So, the first part is your hands are nice and wide; they go down onto the floor, slightly bent arms and pretty much in line with your shoulders.

Okay, so part two is the run-up. Now, you don't use your knees, a big run-up, for this, usually two steps is just fine. And start with your leading leg, which is your weaker leg, so you step 1, step 2, you bend, place your hands, if you can do a hand stand that will help you, so learn how to do that.

Hands here, and then you get ready to push off. Step three is literally your feet going over the top pushing off using your whole body to flip through. So, there you are, that is a front flip.

So, we had number one, which was your hands, where to place them, make sure you have your arms bent, and your arms in line with your shoulders. You had step two, of our run-up, you only need two steps, make sure you use your legs really strongly. And the third step is the actual flip.

And that's how to do a front flip.
